There's just something about the experience of eating a plate of noodles that makes you want more.
Shrimp with Lemon and Garlic Sauce over Pappardelle Pasta is one of the favorite Italian way of serving pappardelle. This sauce can also be used with any other fresh or dried broad noodles. Bear in mind that, other than during springtime when fresh English peas are at their peak of season, you are best off making this dish with frozen peas; look for a good brand of frozen petite peas, which should have excellent flavor and texture in the finished sauce.

It is perfect for spreading on toast for breakfast or at tea time, and is also superlative folded into whipped cream and used as a filling for cakes, roulades and scones. Lemon Cookies with Lemon Icing
Its rainy today, sky is cloudy and miserable, no sign of sun. I thought photography is of no use today, but then decided to experiment. As usual on such gloomy day something sweet and citrusy would be good. Lemon cookies came out extra delicious. After coffee I have grabbed my camera after all and did not get disappointed. Pictures came out moody, very calm with interesting play of shades. In spite of ugly weather my table shines with sunny sweets.

Coffee Cake with Hazelnut Streusel Topping
These individual coffee cakes are richly flavored but light, so they almost melt in your mouth. There's a crunch on the outside from hazelnut streusel topping and soft interior crumb. The cakes are finished with a dusting of cocoa powder, powdered sugar, and cinnamon, just a hint, so there are all kinds of flavors here. The coffee cakes are best the day they are baked, but they can be wrapped individually in plastic wrap and frozen. Defrost frozen cakes at room temperature, and rewarm if desired.
