Spring is finally around the corner after the endless cold days and this means new start and new beginning. Everything slowly starts to wake up as sun warms up the ground. I love first sunny days, I open my windows to let fresh air to come into our bedrooms. Once you can see first flowers under the trees you know Easter is coming soon. Along with cooking special foods during such time, I like to give my house a spark and start my spring cleaning. I do laundry almost every day - all winter jackets, scarves and sweaters need a good wash. Winter boots are going into their boxes until next cold season. When all of this is in order, I start freshening up room by room. I buy many flowers and herbs in early spring, something unique for every room. Tulips usually go on my dining table, lilies of the valley – to bedrooms. Fresh mint on a countertop brings lovely aroma in a kitchen. Don't you just love new beginning?
Recently, I have got a box from Oxo, very timely it was filled with many cleaning tools. I would love to share with you some of my favorite new toys.
Compact Dustpan & Brush: It is very small, I use it as a cleaning tool after meals. It is perfect to brush of bread crumbs and small food droppings.
Microfiber Delicate Duster: This is probably the most fun tool. My children were running around with it trying to dust every frame in a house. Happy and very colorful, reminds me of a clown head for some reason-))
Extendable Sweep Set: Who does not like a good broom? It is very light with soft-tipped bristles and extendable handle. This one is for my husband who would not be able to find any more excuses not to clean around the fireplace.
Electronics cleaning brush: I work a lot with my computer and often I drink coffee and nibble on some cookie while working. Naturally, crumbs are everywhere. This little tool helps me to clean my keyboard at the end of every work day. Very cute and handy.
Spring cleaning can be a lot of fun and even joy. Gather your family, get a box of cleaning toys and you will see how your house will be become crispy clean in no time!

Yes, Autumn cleaning comes after Summer-)) Usually I do a garage sale in early September and get ready for cold season-)
